Surgical Technician
Full-Time

The Black Hills Regional Eye Surgery Center is seeking a Operating Room Technician for a position in our ophthalmic ambulatory surgical center. At the Black Hills Regional Eye Surgery Center, we are dedicated to maintaining and enhancing the quality of life for our patients through state-of-the-art medical care. We are committed to providing comprehensive eye care and surgery for children and adults. We stress excellent service and consideration for the patient, and constantly strive to provide the best medical and surgical care available anywhere. Criteria:

  • Will provide surgical assistance to the physician/surgeon
  • Experience preferred, but not required, of skill and knowledge in surgical scrub techniques and instrumentation use, application and care.
  • Requires teamwork and flexibility
Monday- Friday (4 out of 5 days a week only)

Sterile Processing Technician
Part-Time

Black Hills Regional Eye Surgery Center is seeking a part-time Sterile Processing Technician in our busy ophthalmic ambulatory surgical center.

Primary duties are processing surgical supplies and equipment, both sterile and non-sterile, which include preparing, cleaning, processing, inventory, and storage to enhance the quality of patient care.

Criteria:

  • Sterile Processing experience is preferred but not required

Ophthalmic Technician
Full-Time

Black Hills Regional Eye Institute is currently seeking an Ophthalmic Technician. Responsibilities include assisting patients through the course of an eye examination. An Ophthalmic Technician performs all areas of history taking and patient work ups, provides patient education per the physicians’ instructions, triage urgent calls and documenting the patient’s encounter in our medical records systems. The successful candidate will be friendly, efficient, possess a good work ethic and have a positive attitude. The candidate also must have attention to detail, multi-task and be able to adapt to a flexible schedule.

Criteria:

  •  Moderate to strong computer skills.

Diagnostic Ophthalmic Technician
Full-Time

The Black Hills Regional Eye Institute is hiring a Ophthalmic Diagnostic Technician for a busy ophthalmology practice.

Responsibilities include all aspects of ophthalmic imaging (External Photos, Visual Field, and OCT imaging etc.) for multiple physicians.

Previous experience preferred.

Licensed Practical Nurse
Full-Time

The Black Hills Regional Eye Surgery Center is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) for a full-time position in our ophthalmic ambulatory surgical center.

Criteria:

  • Current South Dakota State License
  • Requires teamwork and flexibility

No weekends, nights or holidays.
