The Black Hills Regional Eye Institute was one of the first medical facilities in this region to provide patient care at a satellite clinic. This service was started in cooperation with local physicians and optometrists for the convenience of patients. Many patients, particularly the elderly, in rural South Dakota, Nebraska, and Wyoming are enjoying the convenience of no longer traveling hundreds of miles for eye care.
